STUDENT AWARDS

 

[Nov 2017] Claire Longridge received a SOM fellow commendation at the RIBA President’s Medals Students Awards for her MArch project “Archaeological Mechanisms.” The project’s model and drawings were also exhibited at the RSA New Contemporaries 2018 (Royal Scottish Academy of Art & Architecture, National Gallery of Scotland, 24 March 2018 - 18 April 2018), where she won the RSA Medal for Architecture

 

[June 2016] Adam Kelly, Arthur Kirkwood, Robin Søndergaard, Chrysa Theodorou, and Emily Xiao receive honourable mention in competition run by Pamphlet Architecture Press under the theme “Floating Cities” for their MArch I project “Anticipating Urbanism”

 

[June 2016] Frixos Petrou, Guillermo Fernandez, Laura Garcia receive honourable mention in competition run by the Greek Institute of Architects in New York, under the theme “COCOON,” for their stage 3 project “Deviant Habitats”

 

[Jan 2016] Jan Hajek, Grace Ho, Victoria Meadows, Matthew Rosser, and Anoushka Sivaraman receive first prize for their MArch I design project at the competition for a new Cruise Boat Terminal in San Juan, Puerto Rico, run by Archmedium. Chee Wei Lim, Neethu Babu Raj, Rimsha Rehman, Timi Fagbemi, and Ningxin Ye, and also Claire Longridge, Samantha Murchie, and Amy Sanderson received honourable mentions for their MArch I projects at the same competition

 

[Nov 2012] Richard Breen received a commendation for his graduation project “Afterimage - Projected Morphology” at the RIBA President’s Medals Students Awards (Newcastle University)

 

[June 2012] Lam Nguyen received the RIBA Hadrian Medal Award 2012 for his graduation project “Afterimage” (Newcastle University)
