PRACTICE

 

Piotr first entered profession while still an undergraduate student in Warsaw, then continued as architectural assistant at 3DReid Architects in Edinburgh, where he contributed to residential and mixed-use projects for private clients and non-government organizations.

 

The projects Piotr has worked on more recently as architect range from high-specification interior designs and residential extensions, through housing schemes, to a conversion and extension of a 3,500 sqm listed urban villa in the historic centre of Łódź, Poland. He has collaborated with Wiszniewski Thomson Architects, Edinburgh, DAS Design, Glasgow, and APP Draft, Łódź, Poland.

 

Beyond architecture, Piotr specialises in comprehensive exhibition design, offering services at all stages, from curatorial strategy and thematic research, through overall design, panel writing and graphic design, to management, supervision of manufacturing and installation. Among exhibition Piotr has contributed to were Cold War Neons at the Lighthouse Centre for Architecture, Glasgow (curator Dr Ella Chmielewska), and a research exhibition Edinburgh Jews for the School of Divinity at Edinburgh University (design and co-curation with Jane McArthur), which was exhibited at the National Library of Scotland Map Library and the Synagogue of the Edinburgh Hebrew Congregation.
